As Hellyeah continue to blaze their way across the country as part of the Megadeth-headlined Gigantour, the band been plotting their fourth studio album.

According to a new interview with Minnesota radio station 93X (via Blabbermouth) the band is kicking things up a notch this time around, leaving the comfort of drummer Vinnie Paul’s home studio and making plans to record at a studio in Las Vegas with rock super-producer Kevin Churko.

“We've done the past three Hellyeah records [at my home studio in Dallas], but this [next] record, we really wanna go to another level with our music,” says Vinnie Paul. “We're working with Kevin Churko, who's produced Ozzy and Five Finger and In This Moment and all that. We're actually recording that in Vegas right down the street from my house in Vegas, so it's almost gonna be as convenient as doing the Texas one."

Paul also reports that the writing is already under way, too. “We're already writing [material for the next album],” he shared. “This tour [Gigantour] goes until Aug. 20 and as soon as we're done, we go right into the studio with Kevin and we should have a record out probably early next year."

The new disc will follow up Hellyeah’s third studio album ‘Band of Brothers’ released in July of 2012. Hellyeah are forecasting a release date of early 2014 for the new release.
