Let's start with a little background because it's kind of important. I don't believe in anything supernatural. Nothing. No ghosts, no devils, no anything. I'll agree that there may be  a few things on earth we haven't found yet, but that's about it.

Now onto part two. You know that hotel that inspired the book The Shining? Yes, I stayed there. It really is old and creepy as hell. It's the Stanley Hotel in Estes Park Colorado. I was flown up there for a company meeting of the minds. I was a bit on guard because at the time I was fairly new in my non-belief of all things supernatural. I remember waiting for scratching sounds, thumps, or even the old creaks and groans of an old building. I never heard a thing.  One night though I got a little tired of all of the corporate ass-smootching and I went out to sit on the front porch. It was a pretty amazing view and I was sitting next to an authentic Stanley Steamer automobile.  I was just sitting there when I saw what looked like a wolf about 30 yards away. I kind of focused in and thought "what the hell" and kind of looked behind me to see if anyone else was seeing this. When I looked back the wolf was about 15 yards away from me. I looked back again to make sure I could make it to the door if I needed to and when I turned back around the wolf was gone. Just gone as if it had evaporated.

So that's my story. What's yours? Have you ever seen anything unexplainable?
