Rejoice, Spartan fans! Halo: The Master Chief Collection has finally gone gold. With that said, you might want to clear out some hard drive space. Just sayin'.

Dan Ayoub, Studio Head of Halo External Development at 343 Industries, has posted to the Xbox Wire, letting all of the world know that Halo: TMCC has gone gold and can now be pre-ordered and pre-loaded at this very moment.

Ayoub also announced that the game will now be released on Nov. 11, 2014 for a majority of territories around the world, save for Belgium, France and Japan due to public holidays. Belgium will get it on Nov. 12, France on Nov. 14 and Japan on Nov. 13.

Since Halo: TMCC packs in a ton of great Halo content, you can expect that it's going to be a large game. This means that, on top of the 45GB-worth of content on the Blu-ray disc, a day one content update will need to be installed, featuring a few features and multiplayer components. The entire download will be 20GB. Whew. If you're a fan of the Spartan Ops stuff, you'll have to wait until December to get access the episodes, but at least you'll get all 10 episodes at once.

Now all that's left to do is wait for the Nov. 11, 2014 release of Halo: The Master Chief Collection for Xbox One.
