Where there's smoke, there's fire, and where there's blistering guitar riffs, there's Gus G. That's evident in the guitar great's new video for 'I Am the Fire,' which also features a guest turn by Devour the Day.

The video is more a set of visuals than a conceptual piece, with Gus G. often playing amidst a smoke-ridden forest or a black backdrop with pyro behind him. Meanwhile, the members of Devour the Day also appear in the clip as well.

In a recent posting, Devour the Day's Joey "Chicago" Walser stated, "‘I Am the Fire’ is meant to be inspirational. We want the listener to feel empowered as they conquer their next challenge. It has awesome guitar work, killer tones and a great mix of Gus G. and Devour the Day, like a super futuristic rock Voltron.” The song comes from Gus G.'s album of the same name.

In other Gus G. news, the guitarist hinted that fans should expect more solo music coming from Ozzy Osbourne at some point. The guitarist, who saw his career really take off once joining Ozzy's band, recently told Noisefull, “Ozzy wants to do another solo album, that’s for sure. As far as I know he has a contract for three more solo albums, so I don’t know when he will finish them, if he’ll do them and if I’m going to be a part in it, but I certainly know that he wants to do one more solo album.”

Even though Gus suggested a solo album will be coming, he didn't have a timeline for the disc. He explained, “When is it going to happen, I don’t know, because these are his decisions, [Osbourne manager and wife] Sharon’s and the whole management’s. Now, Black Sabbath have great success and I’m very glad they did this comeback, so we’ll be waiting.”
