The PlayStation Blog has been updated with God of War: Ascension's new single-player trailer, news of a demo coming soon, and a reveal of the finalized Collector's Edition.

Aaron Kaufman, Community Strategist at SCE Santa Monica, gives us a look at that tasty, although short, single-player story trailer and explains that there will be more details about Kratos' adventure coming soon.

The SCE Santa Monica team will also be wrapping up the multiplayer beta next week, so they're going to focus on teasing bits of Ascension's story. Kaufman says that they'll be releasing "a full-fledged single player demo" in late February, so here's to hoping it's as beefy as previous demos were.

And lastly, we're given a look at what we'll see in the finalized version of the Collector's Edition. It comes with a badass Kratos statue (probably carved out of pure  rage), a premium steelbook case for the game, a soundtrack, a 48 hour experience boost for the multiplayer, a PS3 dynamic theme, and a PSN avatar pack.

The game will be out on March 12, 2013 for the PlayStation 3. Let us know if you'll be snagging one of these boxes and if you're way excited for the newest anger-filled romp through ancient Greece!
