Giant Lego Men Are Washing Ashore All Over The World [VIDEO]

A giant, eight-foot-tall, 100-pound Lego man made of fiberglass has washed ashore on the beach in the Florida Keys. Sarasota’s Siesta Key to be exact. Wearing a “shirt” that says: “no real than you are” on the front and “Ego Leonard” and a number eight on the back, which makes absolutely no sense. There is a Legoland theme park nearby but a rep from the park issued a statement saying, “This activity is in no way sponsored or endorsed by The LEGO Group or Merlin Entertainments, who run LEGOLAND attractions. Hope you’ve given Mr. LEGO Imposter his one phone call and an attorney!” They are known to sue pants off anybody who rips off their trademark.

Many people believe the Lego man, is the work of an artist who goes by the name Ego Leonard, which would explain the name on the back of it’s shirt right?. His website reads, “My name is Ego Leonard and according to you I come from the virtual world. A world that for me represents happiness, solidarity, all green and blossoming, with no rules or limitations.” Again I have no idea what that means.

This isn’t the first time it’s happened either. Here’s video of another Lego man who looks exactly the same washing up in Norway in 2007.

I’m thinking a Lego ship must have sank in the ocean somewhere and it’s taken this long for the bodies to wash up. Or there was a massacre in the Lego mob and since they’re plastic they can’t sleep with the fishes. Plastic floats ya know.
