Gene Simmons Works Out Daddy Issues on ‘Family Jewels’ [VIDEO]

Gene Simmons Confronts His Dad
A&E

Gene Simmons worked out some deep-seated daddy issues during an uncomfortable exercise at marriage boot camp on Monday’s ‘Gene Simmons Family Jewels.’ Even a metal god isn’t above some psychotherapy, it seems.

Simmons confronted a stand-in for his father (who’s deceased) and realized he harbors some serious resentment toward his dad for abandoning his family.

This intense therapy session is all part of an effort by Simmons to prove he’s a changed man and is ready to marry longtime girlfriend Shannon Tweed. Good luck, God of Thunder!
