Get your kids immunizations all caught up before school starts this Thursday, August 2nd, 2012. The Medical Care Mission will be holding a free immunization clinic at their offices on Pine Street. There are some things you’ll need to bring with you in order to get your kids their shots.

The Medical Care Mission requires that every child be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian and must bring the child’s shot records and birth certificate. Immunizing uninsured children in Texas is the primary purpose of the Medical Care Mission and their special ‘Care Van Program.’ Plus, the Care Van Program also offers free health screenings at most of its events. The health screening includes blood pressure checks, body fat and strength tests.
