Fozzy have been on a pretty amazing roll as of late, so what better way to celebrate than a new song, "Drinkin With Jesus"! The song comes off the group's upcoming album Judas, out Oct. 13 via Century Media records.

Straight up, the band seems to be allowing themselves to have as much fun as possible on the track, knowing it'll work itself out as a ripper of a track. Frontman Chris Jericho adds a lot of fire with his vocal delivery, while the guitar work grooves along to create a nice baseline. The song catapults to a total riff fest, barreling down the highways of rock until Jericho comes back with some sweet vocals, leading things out.

Of the song, Jericho says "‘Drinkin With Jesus,’ is a song we specifically wanted to put second on the record because it quite simply kicks ass! It's the type of song you crank up with the top down as you're speeding down the highway at midnight. While 'Judas’ is deep and heavy, 'Drinkin' punches you in the face in a different way. Lyrically, this song is about drinking alone, just hanging out with the Lord and having a few cocktails. It’s got some dark lyrics, but it’s overall a fun song with a great riff and some killer solos. So enjoy and CRANK IT UP!"

Judas has been a long time coming, and is starting to be closer within our grasps. Back in May, the group premiered the video for the title track, releasing a dark and surprising video filled with a lot of humor and cool. For fans who want to catch Fozzy unleash total chaos, the band will be going on the road with Gemini Syndrome very soon.

If you're a total Jerichoholic, you're not going to want to miss out on the Loudwire Music Awards ceremony and concert on Oct. 24. The event will honor both Tony Iommi and Rob Halford with performances coming from AnthraxHalestormPower TripBody Count and Starset with more to be announced and Jericho will serve as host for the evening.
