So this video might not make you cry, but the story probably will. Michael Ferns, a senior at St. Clairsville High in Clairsville, OH, gave up a touchdown one yard from the end zone so that his teammate, Logan Thompson, whose father died two days before, could score instead.

Coach Brett McLean had secretly been urging the team to set Thompson up for a touchdown, but it was Ferns, a Michigan recruit, who made it happen. In fact, refs initially thought Thompson had scored a touchdown, and had to be convinced otherwise. For Thompson, a freshman, it was his first varsity touchdown. We're guessing it meant a whole lot that day.
