When all is said and done, the Holy S--ts was a pretty good fake band name for Foo Fighters as many of the band's U.K. fans had exactly that reaction when catching the group's "surprise" club shows.

The Foos played a trio of dates in the U.K. this week leading up to their appearance at the Invictus Games closing ceremonies in London on Sept. 14. During the gig in Brighton, England on Wednesday night (Sept. 10), the band pulled out a few surprises. While there were a number of Foo Fighters favorites in the set list, frontman Dave Grohl warned the crowd at one point, "From here on out, every song that we do, we'll make it a little bit different than we've ever done it before."

Some of those tweaks included bringing up the vocalist for a Foo Fighters tribute band to singer 'White Limo,' with Grohl humorously introducing him by saying, "Ladies and gentlemen … would you please welcome … me!" There are two fan-shot clips of the performance below, with one providing better audio while the other has better video.

The band also rolled out a "trash metal" version of their popular song 'Learn to Fly' and broke out some rarer Foo Fighters cuts like 'Enough Space,' 'New Way Home' and 'Up In Arms.' The set also included a cover of Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers' 'Breakdown' and a snippet of a track that's rumored to appear on the 'Sonic Highways' album that appeared during the group's performance of 'The Pretender.'

Thanks to the Internet, a number of fan-shot videos from the show have surfaced online. Check out the videos below, as well as the full set list. And look for Foo Fighters 'Sonic Highways' album coming Nov. 10.
