It’s hard not love a smart and charming geek girl who references Freddy Krueger and old school video games while hanging with Stan Lee. But that’s just part of why we love Felicia Day, the sharp and sexy creative force behind ‘The Guild’ and the recently launched Geek & Sundry YouTube Channel.

The Internet’s favorite redhead impresses and inspires with her many nerd-friendly web projects plus her roles in classic genre TV shows like ‘Eureka’ and ‘Buffy the Vampire Slayer.’

We first noticed Day several years ago playing a potential slayer in the final season of Joss Whedon’s ‘Buffy.’ She collaborated with Whedon again for the mega-successful (and awesome) web mini-series ‘Dr. Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog,’ in which she held her own while singing and dancing alongside super talents like Nathan Fillion and Neil Patrick Harris.

The actress-writer-producer can currently be seen on Syfy’s ‘Eureka’ and on ‘The Flog,’ a web series in which she answers fan questions, recommends cool blogs and sites to check out, and heads out into the world to learn a new skill like ice sculpting and welding.

Day also has her hands in the comic book word – she’s written several comics featuring characters from ‘The Guild.’

So join us in recognizing Felicia Day, a crush-worthy gal who has found success doing things her way.
