Want some eye candy?  ‘My Darkest Days’ are back with a new single, album and new video.  Off the album, “Sick and Twisted Affair”, which comes out on March 27th, My Darkest Days‘  latest video for the song “Casual Sex” has everything you want in a good video….hot chicks!  Though, some of them are wearing animal masks, which is kind of weird, there is no denying the hottness factor of these girls.  The video also features ‘Porn King’ Ron Jeremy.

I am willing to bet there will be an uncensored version to this video soon.

You can catch My Darkest Days  out on tour with Nickelback, Bush and Seether.  As far as Texas dates, that tour rolls into  Dallas on June 1st, and in Houston on June 2nd.

Thousand Foot Krutch

Canadian Christian rockers Thousand Foot Krutch are getting ready to release their new album ‘The End Is Where We Begin’ in April, their first release since their departure from Tooth and Nail Records.

The band went back to DIY mode for this disc, planning to release it independently. In order to accomplish that, they got creative and offered up several pre-release packages and first listens to fans who donated to the cause. The first new song available was ‘War of Change’ in December followed by the title track and ‘Courtesy Call’ released in early January.

Frontman Travis McNevan talked about the new album coming together, explaining, “Without trying, this record has a very militant theme to it, with songs like ‘War Of Change’ and ‘Courtesy Call’ painting more of a visual for that.” He expanded on that even more, saying, “There’s an urgency to it and I think the timing feels right. This record’s heart can be summed up by ‘Be The Change,’ the album’s lyric and phrase seen throughout the album artwork.”

Fans will have to wait a little longer to hear ‘Be The Change’ but you can check out the artwork for the new album above.

Apparently Thousand Foot Krutch is the perfect soundtrack for sports junkies too. ESPN has taken a liking to the band, picking up ‘Let the Sparks Fly’ and ‘Light Up the Sky’ for use on their network.

Jazz FM listeners who normally tune in for smooth sounds instead heard some rough stuff when a UK station’s ‘Funky Sensation’ program played the full audio from a pornographic movie over the airwaves this weekend.

Station representatives were light on details as to who or what caused the gaffe, claiming it was the result of “unauthorized access to the live feed.” Jazz FM Program Director Mike Vitti promised swift punishment for the unnamed culprit and said listeners should expect an apology (sans explicit grunting) when they tune in this weekend.

Vitti originally tweeted on Saturday that the unintended broadcast was “a major hack into the feed” and that station engineers were investigating.

Iconic Motorhead frontman Lemmy Kilmister is urging fans to ignore the new ‘Complete Early Years Box Set’ because he feels it has been unfairly priced.

The early recordings of Motorhead are controlled by a label that has a strained relationship with the band, probably even more so now. Despite the light-up fake skull packaging, posters, and photo book included with the ‘Complete Early Years Box Set,’ the band is less than pleased about the $600 price. “Unfortunately greed once again rears its yapping head,” said Lemmy Kilmister. “I would advise against it even for the most rabid completists!”

Motorhead are urging fans hungry for more to instead pick up their latest album ‘The Wörld Is Yours’ and the recent live DVD release ‘The Wörld Is Ours – Vol 1 – Everywhere Further Than Everyplace Else.’ The band is currently wrapping up their tour run with Megadeth, Lacuna Coil and Volbeat as part of Gigantour.

Long before Drew Carey, ‘The Price Is Right’ was hosted by a master swordsman by the name of Bob Barker. Barker found a way to make a game of Plinko interesting by surrounding himself with some of the loveliest ladies on the planet. There wasn’t a teenage boy who didn’t fain interest in a game of Cliff Hangers played by a Ohio grandmother, just so he could catch a glimpse of a model’s prize package.

Through research, we learned a few things that every blue-blooded American male should know about ‘The Price Is Right’ models. We found out that there are only five models in ‘rotation’, and that at any given time five ex-models sued the show over some sort of grievance.

Batman will generally only don his bat-suit when there is crime that needs to be fought. However, there is another caped crusader — Toronto Batman — who has no problem slipping into the iconic costume just because he wants to enjoy a night on the town.

Toronto Batman was kind enough to record his latest experiences in his Canadian hometown.

As you can see, Batman doesn’t have to take down bad guys to contribute to society. His mere presence seems to cheer people up, even when he is rambling on about his dead parents or berating moviegoers for being way too early to see ‘The Dark Knight Rises.’ And, yes, Toronto Batman will pose for pictures.

The video would’ve probably been better if Batman was little easier to understand. Although his often inedible utterances work as both a parody of Christian Bale’s unusually low register when he plays the part and the controversy surrounding ’The Dark Knight Rises’ villain Bane, whose muffled dialogue has been difficult to decipher in the movie’s trailers.

Machine Head frontman Robb Flynn and bassist Adam Duce recently gave some students a thrill when they stopped by Booker T. Washington High School in Tulsa, Okla., on Feb. 13 and spoke to students in a music class for an hour.

Duce was invited by the school’s music teacher, with whom he’s friends, at the request of a student — but the surprise came when Flynn joined him for the visit. That student posted a YouTube video of the entire visit (watch below), as well as the following message:

“They came to visit our school, Booker T. Washington High School, because our guitar teacher knew Adam Duce and I asked him to see if he could get at least Adam Duce to come to hang out. I could never believe that Robb Flynn would drop by with him as well! They played later on that night at the House of Blues on February 13, 2012, and I headbanged and moshed like none before at the concert!”

Metallica announced their own Orion Music + More Festival earlier this month, which offers an incredibly eclectic and not exactly metallic lineup. Drummer Lars Ulrich addressed the diversity of the bill immediately, since the band pretty much knew fans might be scratching their heads about a lineup featuring Metallica thrashing about alongside indie acts like Modest Mouse and Best Coast. Ulrich said, “If you took our four iPods and scanned through them, you’d find the biggest variety and diversity of music. So we’re trying to bring that spirit to the festival.” Festival promoter Charlie Walker of C3 also weighed in about the unexpected acts Metallica chose to feature.

The festival, to be held June 23 and 24 at Bader Field in Atlantic City, N.J., does boast some metal, with bands like Avenged Sevenfold, The Sword and Liturgy set to appear. More metal might be added down the road, along with more alt rock. Indeed, the festival will be a gateway for fans to find new bands, regardless of genre.

Walker, who has put together popular fests like Lollapalooza in Chicago and Austin City Limits, spoke about the value of diversity, which has headbanger’s raising their eyebrows, especially since many fans were confounded by the ‘Lulu’ album with Lou Reed.

“Whenever I see kids at Lollapalooza or ACL, they always tell me that one of their favorite parts of the festival is going out and seeing something might not have ordinarily seen or bought a ticket to, because they didn’t know enough about the band,” Walker told Billboard.biz. “It’s really about being wide open across everything from punk to country and having people exploring multiple genres and multiple types of bands.”

The fact that tried and true ‘Tallica fans might not know what to make up the lineup is not lost on the promoter, who said, “I’m sure some people have a vision of what they think it is because it’s Metallica, but I think they’ll have a different understanding of what it is after they come and see it.”

Walker also suggested that there is the possibility of adding even more metal to the package, saying, “I think we’ll try and stick with diversity. You’ll see some more hard rock bands, you’ll see some more alternative bands. We’re certainly not consciously trying to lean it hard rock or indie — we’re trying to make it balanced.”

Hard-rock powerhouse Rob Zombie will hit the road with thrash metal giants Megadeth for a co-headlining tour that kicks off in New Jersey this May and features two previously announced festival appearances.

Rob Zombie and Megadeth are joining forces for the first time ever for the limited engagement this spring. The dates will come on the heels of Megadeth’s current Gigantour — which also features Motorhead, Lacuna Coil, and Volbeat — and will mark Rob Zombie’s first tour since last summer’s ‘Hell on Earth’ tour with another thrash metal titan, Slayer.

Rob Zombie stage show, described in the press release as “an amped-up, non-stop barrage of sin, sex and Satan guaranteed to rip your face off,” may clash with Megadeth frontman Dave Mustaine‘s Christian beliefs, but nonetheless it should be a headbanging extravaganza! The engagement currently has nine announced dates — two of which are their previously set festival performances at Rock on the Range and Rocklahoma — with more to be announced soon.

Megadeth are touring in support of their 13th studio album ‘TH1RT3EN,’ while Zombie is currently working on his witchcraft horror flick ‘Lords of Salem’ — which has a tentative 2012 release date — and plans to enter the studio to record the follow-up to 2010′s ‘Hellbilly Deluxe 2.’

Hurt rolled through Abilene recently for an amazing acoustic performance, and for a very worthy cause. The Modern Gentlemen kicked off An Acoustic Evening with Hurt at The Lucky Mule Saloon which benefited St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.  All the proceeds from the show, as well as the silent auction, went to help fight cancer at St. Jude.

We can’t thank everyone enough for coming out to support the cause.  Hurt and the Modern Gentlemen didn’t have to do a free show, but they did for the kids, and that is just cooler than the other side of the pillow.  I had a great time, and I hope that you guys did as well.

Now, I’m not what you call a good photographer, but I was able to get some pretty decent shots of the show.

After taking a couple months to recharge their batteries after their successful fall tour in support of their latest album, the boys in Chickenfoot have lined up a new string of dates that will see them rocking cities across the United States throughout May and June.

Dubbed the ‘Different Devil Tour’ in honor of the album’s second single, the band’s next run of shows kicks off May 4 in Lake Tahoe and will pack in 20 concerts before concluding June 10 in Los Angeles. “The Foot are road tested and ready to roll and can’t wait to play the new songs for the fans!” shouted singer Sammy Hagar in a press release announcing the tour.

Chickenfoot’s fall outing, dubbed the ‘Road Test Tour,’ featured stops in small clubs and earned rave reviews along the way. Of course, this time they’ll be competing with Van Halen — whose 2012 tour will find them playing L.A. the night before Chickenfoot arrives in town — but we think there’s plenty of room for both acts to shine. The new edition is set for release on March 22 and will join the original version, Angry Birds Seasons, Angry Birds Rio and Angry Birds Facebook in Rovio’s Angry Birds’ franchise. If all games and platforms are included, Angry Birds has been downloaded over 700 million times since first launching in 2009.

While the trailer doesn’t give anything away about the game play, it is reported that Angry Birds Space will feature zero gravity levels, slow motion puzzles and some completly new birds. Rovio will also be partnering with two familiar names on the project.

“Science and education are very important to us, and we’re very excited to have NASA and National Geographic as launch partners on Angry Birds Space,” Andrew Stalbow, GM of Rovio North America, told Yahoo Games.

According to Stalbow, more details about the latest of their highly addictive bird-flinging game will be released in early March.
