Falling in Reverse have been heating up eardrums and airwaves with their latest single, ‘I’m Not a Vampire,’ off their debut album ‘The Drug in Me Is You.’ Singer Ronnie Radke and guitarist Jacky Vincent recently stopped by the Loudwire offices, during which time Vincent showed off his stellar shredding skills (watch below).

“When I was a little kid, I was going through my dad’s CDs and I found the first Guns N’ Roses album and he gave it to me,” Vincent told us. “And it had swearing in it and I thought it was really cool when I was a kid and it made me want to play rock music.”

He went on to say, “He just had a lot of shred albums and stuff like that and I would listen to those and was completely obsessed with guitars. I was born in ’89 so I kind of missed all those bands that I listen to now, but it was still present when I was really tiny and I think it just stuck with me.”

Ronnie Radke joked about Vincent by saying, “In his past life he was an ’80s hair metal rock ‘n’ roller.”

Vincent concluded, “Slash is a big influence for me but my biggest influences are Paul Gilbert [of Mr. Big] and Jason Becker — those dudes are really fast.”

Speaking of playing really fast, check out axeman Jacky Vincent shred it up in the video below.
