Additional Information

SurvivorFEST is an event I've been involved with for the last 3 years, serving as event emcee. The organization was started by Barbara Pointer, a breast cancer survivor who wanted to be able to provide women with information and emotional and financial support. This marks the 5th anniversary of helping bring awareness and information to the Big Country with the SurvivorFEST fundraiser.

I am blessed to be able to call these women, many of them survivors as friends. They do a lot of work (unpaid) to make sure that women are provided the tools they need to make informed decisions. The SurvivorFEST fundraiser benefits Alliance for Women and Children who help provide free mammograms and diagnostic testing. There will be live music from Jody Nix, live and silent auctions, concessions, survivor stories and more.
