Get ready to sample food from over 30 Big Country restaurants, all at one location. The annual Taste of Abilene hosted by the Rotary Club of Abilene (RCA) and the Abilene Restaurant Association (ARA) is Tuesday, April 29th at the Civic Center. Are there some restaurants you've always wanted to try, but for whatever reason you didn't? Here's your chance to try them all, check it out.
This year you'll get to vote on your favorite food from the "Taste of Abilene" by donating a dollar at that restaurants booth. At the end all monies will be split and given to one of the many nonprofit organizations the Rotary Club helps and the ARA will use their portion for their scholarship program.

Rotary member Kayla Christianson said "this year will be the first year that the ARA will allow restaurants that are not in their association, to participate in the Taste of Abilene." Tickets can be purchased in advance, online at the Taste of Abilene website. Currently there are over 30 restaurants participating but that number is expected to grow.
