2013 ‘Run or Dye’ – Abilene 5K

It's almost time to take on the challenge of a 5K and this isn't just any normal 5K. The Run or Dye 5k is one of the most colorful runs you will ever make. It's coming up August 17th at the Taylor Co. Expo Center and will benefit the local Big Brothers/Big Sisters organization.

I told you a few months ago that I was challenging myself to my first 5K and I chose the Run or Dye event because it just sounded like more fun than work! By the end of this race you will be the most colorful, exhausted, fulfilled person you've ever seen.

This is Abilene's first Run or Dye event and Big Brothers/Big Sisters has been chosen to receive the funds raised from this years event. With thousands of people already signed up to run the 5K, BB/BS will have much to celebrate.

Team registration (4 or more participants) $40 per person

Individual registration $45 per person

• Any age may participate (ages 6 & under run free with adult)
• No pets
• Clothing/shoes should be able to get 'dirty'(although dye is washable); wear light colored clothes to show the colors best
• Spectators welcome
