EA's been out of the basketball game for a few years, but this year, the developer is bringing back NBA Live, and now we know when.

EA revealed on NBA Live 14 Twitter it will be hitting the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 on Nov. 19. There hasn't been much revealed about the revamped basketball title, but we do know there's a lot of hope behind the first NBA game from EA in more than four years. To this point, we've only really been shown the dribbling aspects of the Ignite Engine, and considering NBA Live 14 is just a shade over two months away, that's actually pretty concerning.

NBA Live 10 was the last game released in the series. The brand was renamed NBA Elite for the 2011 season, but it was pulled from release days before it was supposed to arrive. Some copies have been found in the wild, and are actually among the most coveted for collector's at the moment. NBA Live was supposed to be back on track last year, but was cancelled due to quality concern issues. With NBA Live 14 EA is hoping to provide some competition for NBA 2K, which has gone unrivaled the past few years.

Both games will be debuting on next-gen consoles, and hopefully rekindling the rivalry of yesteryear. We've only got to wait until November to find out.
