Drink of the Day Recap – Week Ending May 4th

Every weekday around 5:30, I give you the Drink of the Day, good for 2500 points that spend just like money in the Rockoholic VIP club, plus I give you a little knowledge about mixing drinks. Here are your drinks for April 30th thru May 4th.

Catfish

1 1/2 oz Crown Royal Canadian whisky
1/2 oz peach schnapps

Serve it chilled up.

Cherry Blow Pop

1/3 oz Southern Comfort peach liqueur
1/3 oz amaretto almond liqueur
1/3 oz grenadine syrup

Pour all three ingredients into an short shaker with ice. For better taste, let it chill for a bit.

Easyrider

.5 oz of any kind of beer
1 oz of Bourbon
10 oz of Cola

Mix in the coke and the bourbon, then the beer. If you want an extra kick, add an energy drink.

Texas Rose

1 jigger rum
2 jiggers orange juice
1 jigger creme de bananes
1 jigger pineapple juice

Mix all ingredients and pour over ice.

Beer Margarita

6 ozcan frozen limeade concentrate
12 ozbottle Corona lager
6 oz vodka
6 oz water

In a large pitcher mix the Corona and limeade mixture (follow the directions on the frozen limeade except substitute one can of water with one can of vodka - cheap is fine). Serve in frosted mugs with ice.
