Drink of the Day Recap – Week Ending April 27th

Every weekday around 5:30, I give you the Drink of the Day, good for 2500 points that spend just like money in the Rockoholic VIP club, plus I give you a little knowledge about mixing drinks. Here are your drinks for April 23rd thru April 27th.

Rick James

1 oz Hennessy cognac
1 oz Bacardi 151 rum
3 - 4 oz 7-Up soda

FIll Highball glass with ice, pour the Hennessey and the 151 together, fill with 7 up garnish with a lime and serve.

Fickle Pickle

3/4 oz vodka
3/4 oz Midori melon liqueur
1/4 oz Crown Royal Canadian whisky
1/2 oz triple sec
sweet and sour mix

Pour the vodka, Midori melon liqueur, Crown Royal whisky and triple sec into a cocktail shaker half-filled with ice cubes. Add sweet and sour mix to taste. Shake well. Strain into a highball glass, garnish with a cherry flag, and serve.

5 Best Friends

1/5 oz Jack Daniel's Tennessee whiskey
1/5 oz Jagermeister herbal liqueur
1/5 oz Johnnie Walker Scotch whisky
1/5 oz Jim Beam bourbon whiskey
1/5 oz Jose Cuervo Especial gold tequila

Combine ingredients in a shot glass, and serve.

Purple Hooter

1/2 oz vodka
1/2 oz Chambord raspberry liqueur
1 splash 7-Up soda

Pour ingredients into a stainless steel shaker over ice. Shake until ice cold. Strain into a large shot glass, and serve.

Red snapper

1 shot Crown Royal Canadian whisky
1 shot amaretto almond liqueur
1 shot cranberry juice

Shake, pour into an old-fashioned glass, and serve.
