The Dave Matthews Band have announced their summer 2013 in support of their latest album, 'Away From the World,' which came out last year. Like most summers for the past 20 or so years, Matthews will spend three months on the road playing career-spanning sets in outdoor amphitheaters for sun-kissed audiences.

The tour kicks off in Woodland, Texas, on May 17 and runs through Sept. 8 in Mountain View, Calif. In between, Matthews and his band will play shows that stretch from Saratoga Springs, N.Y., to East Troy, Wis., to George, Wash., the site of his annual Labor Day concerts. Many dates -- including gigs in Mansfield, Mass., Camden, N.J. and Commerce City, Colo., are multi-night stands.

The band warms up for the tour in April with three shows in the south, including one at the 2013 New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival on April 28. The group -- which includes drummer Carter Beauford, bassist Stefan Lesard and violinist Boyd Tinsley -- have consistently ranked among the top touring acts in the world over the past decade.

Tickets will go on sale at 10 a.m. EST on March 22. Matthews' website has more info. Members of Matthews' Warehouse Fan Association get first dibs at tix in a special pre-sale happening on Feb. 21. There's more information about that here.
