The day is almost upon us. Foo Fighters' Concrete and Gold will be everywhere as of tomorrow (Sept. 15), but the band has been doing a pretty solid job of being omnipresent while ramping up the promotion for their disc. One of the band's recent stops led to a reunion for Dave Grohl for a very important person in his life. The singer recently spent time with Johan, the EMT who acted quickly to take care of his broken leg after he fell offstage during a show in Gothenburg, Sweden back in 2015.

Grohl posted a selfie of himself with Johan and the caption "Reunited!" in one shot, while also flashing back to a photo of the EMT taking care of Grohl onstage in Sweden. In recounting the incident back in 2015, Grohl recalled, "I asked if I could get back onstage to finish the show, but they said I needed a cast (which was 20 minutes away at the hospital) to hold my ankle in place. So I looked my EMT, Johan in the eyes and said, 'Well, then you’re coming up there with me right now and holding it in place until they can bring the cast here. Ready?' He stared at me wide-eyed for a second and said, 'OK, let's go…' I don’t know who was more scared, me or Johan. Five minutes later, I don’t know who was having more fun, me or Johan. (I actually looked at him in between songs and said, 'This is pretty fun, isn’t it?' He smiled and nodded yes.)" See the photo of Grohl's reunion with Johan below.

In other Foo Fighters news, the band has been ramping up promotion for their new music and making it fun for fans in the process. For those who like to hear how a song comes together, Foo Fighters have spent the last week unveiling portions of their "vault," various individual backing vocal and musical files that when pieced together eventually provide what you hear musically on the song "The Sky Is a Neighborhood." The "Vault" site is set up as though there might be other songs deconstructed as well for those who like to play with the sound files. Take a listen and play along here.

And finally, for those in London this coming week, you'll get a chance to celebrate Foo Fighters new album at the band's new pop-up pub. The Foo Fighters Arms will be open from Sept. 15-20 at 339 Cambridge Heath Rd. in London, with plenty of activities set up throughout the week to hype the release of the disc.

The fun actually starts tonight (Sept. 14) for those lucky enough to get an invite to special private launch party. The pub then opens up to the public from 7PM to 1AM on Friday (Sept. 15) with the Concrete and Gold Release Day Party. The pub will remain open through next Wednesday (Sept. 20), with a Foo Fighters Themed Pub Quiz with prizes set to take place on Monday (Sept. 18).
