The Dallas Cowboys, on the heels of another killer performance from DeMarco Murray, beat the Seattle Seahawks 23-13 to improve their record to 4-4.  It wasn't always pretty as the Cowboys showed what has become the norm by their lack of consistency.  In fact, at one point during the first half, the Cowboys out gained the Seahawks 255-54 in yards but only had a 6-3 lead. However, a win is a win and as a Cowboy fan, I'll take it.

DeMarco Murray had another big game,  rushing for 139 yards on 22 carries proving that he should be the starter in Big D.  In fact, Murray set an NFL record for having the highest average yards per carry for a first year player since the great Bo Jacskon.  I don't think there is a Cowboy fan around that doesn't think he should be starting for the rest of the season.

As for Tony Romo, he had a pretty decent game.  He threw 2 TD's with no interceptions, but, again, the Cowboy offense just can't seem to punch it in the end zone on a consistent basis.

Defensively, the 'boys looked pretty good, picking off Tevaris Jackson 3 times but did show some weakness by letting Marshawn Lynch rush for 139 yards. '

All in all, it was a good win for the Cowboys on a night when three great former Cowboy players, Drew Pearson, Charles Haley and Larry Allen,  were all  inducted into the "Ring of Honor"

Now that the Cowboys are 4-4, do you think they actually have a shot at making the playoffs this year?  Should DeMarco Murray be the starter in Dallas?

Ponder those questions and comment below.  In the meantime, here is a recap of the game in pictures.

I also included a fan shot video of the Ring of Honor induction ceremony which you can check out now.
