Ben Affleck and Henry Cavill, step aside! Coheed and Cambria put their own stamp on Batman vs. Superman lore with their new video for "Island."

Though the band previously released a video for the track from The Color Before the Sun album, their new video for "Island" is a more conceptual take. In it, a lonely street performer who dresses as Batman walks the streets, hoping to garner the interests of passers by when one person pays him and another street performer dressed as Superman to stage a battle, much to the delight of a crowd who gathers. Realizing a good thing, that bond is born for the street Batman with somewhat surprising results. Watch the full video above.

"When I think of these two iconic characters, I think of opposite attraction," says vocalist Claudio Sanchez of the clip. "I think of myself and my wife. How two opposite ends of a spectrum can create harmony and balance. In one way or another, these characters have been paired up with like-minded love interests, the Bat and the Cat... The Alien and the Amazonian... I wanted to bring the Dark and the Light together."

"Island" is featured on Coheed and Cambria's The Color Before the Sun, which dropped last October. In addition to "Island," the album has yielded such tracks as "Eraser," "Here to Mars" and "You Got Spirit, Kid."
