The eager fans of Call of Duty: Ghosts on the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 can relax now that Infinity Ward has finally announced the release date for its debut 'Onslaught' downloadable content pack.

Ghosts' Onslaught DLC has already been out on Xbox 360 and Xbox One since Jan. 28. Onslaught comes packaged with Nightfall, the first episode of a four-part storyline pertaining to Ghosts' Extinction game mode. Onslaught will also introduce the Maverick rifle. Who doesn't like getting to play with new toys, right?

The Onslaught DLC will also feature four new multiplayer maps, with the highlight of the four being Fog, which acts as a tribute to the horror films of old. You can even wear Michael Myers' mask and listen to the 'Halloween' theme song as you go in for the knife kill. Onslaught also brings in the boardwalk-based Bayview map, Containment, a war-ravaged South American village and Ignition, which is a revamp of Modern Warfare 2's Scrapyard level.

According to Polygon, Call of Duty: Ghosts' Onslaught DLC will be available for $14.99 and is also included as part of Ghosts' Season Pass (priced at $49.99 total), starting Feb. 27 for PS3, PS4 and PC. Onslaught is already available for both the Xbox 360 and Xbox One at the same price point.
