Less than one month away from the launch of Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare, we have learned that the PS3 and PS4's digital versions are now cross-buy.

The PlayStation Blog has announced that the PlayStation versions of Advanced Warfare will be cross-buy between the two for those who would like to buy the game digitally. Advanced Warfare's cross-buy feature goes both ways, which means that buying the PS3 digital version will give you access to the PS4 version for free. Likewise, buying the PS4 digital version of Advanced Warfare will let you download the PS3 version for free. All DLC purchased for in-game use, including the content from the Season Pass and Digital Pro Edition, will be unlocked between both versions. Also, all stats and in-game progress will transfer back and forth for free, with no deadline or end date.

Digital buyers should note that pre-loading will only work for the version that you paid for, but you will be able to download the other system's version starting on Nov. 3. This offer will last until March 31, 2015 and is exclusive to the PS3 and PS4's digital purchases only.

Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare pre-orders (at participating retailers for the physical game) will get you a copy of the Day Zero Edition, which gives you full access to the game on Nov. 3 with Double EXP for the first 24 hours before the official release. COD: Advanced Warfare officially launches on Nov. 4 for PC, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One.

Whether its on PS3 or PS4, COD better get those gun sounds right.
