Police are searching for a 22-year-old man who disappeared following the June 29 Stone Roses concert at Heaton Park.

The 22-year-old man, Christopher Brahney, was reportedly last seen by friends shortly before midnight during the evening of the show. A press release issued by the police describes him as “white, of slim build and with short brown hair” and says that “he was last seen wearing a dark blue top, light blue shirt, maroon trousers and green wellington boots.”

NME quotes an officer as saying, “Christopher’s family are clearly very worried about him and are desperate for any information relating to his whereabouts. We would urge anyone who may have seen him to contact the police. Christopher, if you see or hear this appeal, we would ask that you make contact with us or the police as soon as possible.” According to the report, anyone with information should call the Greater Manchester Police at 0161 856 7652.

Brahney was one of roughly 225,000 people who attended the Stone Roses’ three Heaton Park shows over the weekend, and his disappearance casts a pall over what was an otherwise triumphant return to the band’s hometown.
