This 42-year-old actress, dancer, recording artist and reality TV show judge was born and raised in The Bronx… she’s from the block to be exact.

She first gained notice on the as a dancer on the sketch show ‘In Living Color’. Out of 2,000 contestants she came in as runner up but eventually won the audition over when the female who actually won was unable to continue. Since gaining recognition on the show this celebrity has gone on to be noted as the top-earning actress of Latin descent.

She’s portrayed lead roles in films such as ‘Selena’, ‘Blood and Wine’, ‘Jack’, ‘The Wedding Planner’ and ‘Out of Sight’. She’s caught the eye of paparazzi over the years with the line of boyfriends in the entertainment industry, including Sean Combs, Ben Affleck, and Marc Antony… with the latter turning to marriage but ending in 2011.

In 2010, she signed on as the judge of a hit FOX reality television show after it was reported that Ellen Degeneres was leaving the position. Aside from being a powerhouse in the entertainment industry she has also made a mark in the worlds in philanthropy, fashion and fragrance.
