November 1, 2012 I can't count how many times I've been on my way home, or elsewhere, and end up behind a car driven by an elderly person. I also can't count how many times that person was driving at a snail's pace or swerving all over the road in apparent confusion. Too many times than not I've witness elderly drivers in 'la-la land' while behind the wheel.
Is there an age that a person is required to prove their able to stay behind the wheel? Well, I went to you guys about it and got some great feedback.

November 1, 2012 When you think of West Texas, football should be the first thing that comes to mind. Nothing is bigger than football, not even the belt buckle or mullet.
In every crowd of football fans is an 'expert'. You know that person. The one who can't stop talking about he or she has picked the winners each week or how they should be the coach. Well, we decided to gather a few of these 'experts' for a weekly pick'em challenge.
The boss lady won the week with a perfect 10-0 while Preach and Skow followed her with 1 loss each. At this point, Preach, Skow and myself are tied on the season but the others are coming up strong.

Personally, I think seniors over the age of 70-75 should be required to take a a driver's education and safety course every two years; or some time within reason.
October 30, 2012 For most Americans, Daylight Savings Time ends this Sunday, November 4th, at 2 a.m. as we adjust our clocks back 1 hour to Standard Time. States like Arizona and Hawaii don't have to adjust their clocks each year since the federal government doesn't require states and territories to observe Daylight Savings Time.

October 30, 2012 Picture this if you. You're cruising down the highway, when all of the sudden a car swerves between you and the car next to you (going same direction). As it swerved between the 2 cars, the car ends up in the lane of oncoming traffic. Then an 18-wheeler hits that car spinning it back into your lane where you'll soon hit it. The car is destroyed and the driver steps out of the wreckage through the front windshield and walk away.
You have to see it to believe it.

Mike Skow, of KTXS, seems to have been sand-baggin' a bit. He started a little slow but has come on with some serious heat the past few weeks. He and I both had perfect scores this past week as we went 10-0. The boss lady is creeping back into the hunt with her 8-2 record and the Preach fell off his perch as he went 7-3.
