The Dallas Mavericks just got past the Portland Trailblazers and the Oklahoma City Thunder romp the Golden State Warriors in last night's NBA action. Aldridge's jumper at the buzzer was the difference in the game. The Dallas Stars headed to motown to take on the Detroit Red Wings and came away with a 4-1 loss.

January 29, 2013 Is Tiger Woods back? Well, he never really left, but his game did. Ever since the cheating scandal, he's been playing 'decent at best' with a few glimmers of his old self. Over the weekend, Tiger stormed past his competitors as he played in 100% of his old form while dominating the course and winning for an 8th time at Torrey Pines. That win was also his 75th PGA Tour career victory.

The Northern Illinois Huskies' men's basketball team isn't very good. They are spectacularly bad, actually. On Saturday, Northern Illinois broke its own NCAA Division I record for least points in a first half in the shot clock era by scoring just four points before halftime in a 42-25 loss to Eastern Michigan.
