Most men will admit there's nothing better than beer and boobs. But, when you combine the two, you get the male equivalent of that chocolate and peanut butter thingy. During my countless hours of 'online research', I found this video of a woman who can pop the top off a beer bottle with her boob.
It's been since 2008 that Puddle of Mudd last played Abilene and it looks like it won't be anytime soon for a return. Following last week's meltdown in Dallas, Wes apparently gave an "encore" of that performance last night in College Station. So, Friday night's show in Abilene has been canceled.
While I have grown fond of a great cover tune, I have also developed a severe disdain of bands covering songs and completely butchering them. There's nothing wrong with covering a great song, but don't attempt it if you can't make it your own and do the original justice.
In a city that's known for its large amount of restaurants, there's not a day that goes by that someone doesn't say "I wish we had _____ to eat here in Abilene". We've got 2 huge shows coming and a great way to go to both and save money. Instead of paying $17.50 to see Puddle of Mudd and $15 to see Wayne Static, we've got weekend passes for only $25. That gets you in to both shows and saves you $7.50.
Each week I give Chaz and Dave a script of a famous movie scene to reenact. They never know the movie, the scene nor the script until we start the camera rolling. With these 2, you never know what you'll get.
This week, Dave and Chaz reenact the famous "nut sack on the drum set" scene from Step Brothers.
Everclear will soon hit the road to headline the 3rd Annual Summerland Tour. This time, they'll be hitting the road with fellow 90s alt-rock bands "Soul Asylum", "Eve 6" and "Spacehog". Everclear frontman, Art Alexakis, called in to The Morning After to chat about the tour.
