November 6, 2012 The Buffalo Gap Historic Village is hosting 'SurvivalFest' on December 1st. The event is intended to help with education on the importance of preparing for emergency situations. SurvivalFest will feature live music, food, and several groups will be on hand to provide education and information about staying safe in the event of a major emergency.

I also can't count how many times that person was driving at a snail's pace or swerving all over the road in apparent confusion. Too many times than not I've witness elderly drivers in 'la-la land' while behind the wheel.
Is there an age that a person is required to prove their able to stay behind the wheel? Well, I went to you guys about it and got some great feedback.

Personally, I think seniors over the age of 70-75 should be required to take a a driver's education and safety course every two years; or some time within reason.
It's Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and while all the pink we see on the players during NFL games in October mainly focuses our attention on how the disease affects women and what they can do about it, we should also keep in mind (or learn) that men, too, can contract breast cancer. According to the American Cancer Society, one in 1,000 men will fall victim to the disease, which claims the life of at least one man every day.
October 16, 2012 When I was about 9 years old I remember by Great-Grandmother being in the hospital in a rotating bed. My brother and I thought it was great fun to be on one side of the bed and then run around to the other when she rotated. I'm sure it wasn't as much fun for her; it rotated to keep her from getting bed sores.
