E3 2013 has come and gone, but there's still quite a bit of fallout to cover from the show. Angelo will have more game previews up shortly. In the meantime, here are some images from the show floor that snapped while walking around looking for coffee and a game to play. The show this year was definitely a lot calmer than shows of the past. The companies didn't even try to out "booth babe" each other this year. Nope, this year's E3 was all about the games and the new systems. And giant statues.

'The Simpsons' is entering its 25th year of existence, as hard as that is to believe, and to help celebrate, the show's creators will be appearing at San Diego Comic-Con 2013. What's particularly interesting, however, is that they'll evidently be bringing never-before-seen footage from the show directed by none other than Guillermo del Toro. You read that correctly.

Though most efforts to transfer video games into feature-length films have been a bust, it's no surprise that Ubisoft is looking to bring their most popular titles to the big screen. The company already has 'Assassin's Creed,' 'Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon,' and 'Splinter Cell' in the works, but they're now working on 'Far Cry,' 'Rabbids' and 'Watch Dogs' as well.

Yesterday, Sony revealed their new gaming system the PS4. Considering how up in arms everybody was over the XBox One, it's no surprise that people were more than willing to hop onboard the PS4 bandwagon. E3 Press Conferences – The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly

The first day of E3 2013 is over, kind of. The Monday before the convention actually opens up is known as press conference day, when all of the big names in gaming come together to show us what they have in store for the convention. Microsoft, EA, Ubisoft, and Sony all held press conferences on Monday this year, with Nintendo deciding to opt out, instead hosting one of its normal Nintendo Direct conferences on Tuesday. It’s tradition to discuss who “won” and who “lost” press conference day (usually because one or two conferences are just so bad you have to wonder how the people responsible for them still have a job). However, this year, everyone did a decent job, which means good things for gamers.

Legend has it that 30 years ago Atari buried a massive cache of video game cartridges in a landfill in New Mexico. With the advent of the Super Nintendo, gamers everywhere saw a boom of turn-based RPGS. Later systems, such as the Playstation, also enjoyed a similarly large library of quality dungeon-delving, boss-slaying, experience gaining games. Breath of Fire and Wild ARMS are two of the biggest franchises to be born from this era. The Wild Arms series added a healthy mix of puzzles and item usage a la Legend of Zelda, while the Breath of Fire series leaned towards crazy characters and flashy combat. The question is, then, which of these two RPG franchises stands head, shoulders, and arms above the other?

Hands-on Preview: World War Z For iOS

Paramount's new action thriller World War Z is coming out in theaters on June 21st. The Brad Pitt vehicle tells the story of Gerry Lane, an ex-United Nations employee tasked with trying to find a cure for a pandemic that's sweeping the planet. While you'll have to wait a bit to see the movie, the iOS and Android game will be available this week and we got the chance to play it.
