When Joss Whedon announced he was adding two new characters to 'Avengers 2' in the brother/sister team of Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch, fans couldn't help but immediately start speculating who would be cast as the new additions to the team. Previously, we reported that Irish actress Saoirse Ronan was the top choice for Scarlet Witch and now we know who Whedon and Marvel have their eye on to play Quicksilver. And it's a name superhero movie fans will definitely be familiar with.
Just this morning we were wondering about how best to get Samuel L. Jackson onto Marvel's upcoming 'Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.' TV series, where now it seems the prolific actor has his eye on another TV gig. As part of an ongoing Alzheimer's' charity drive, Jackson recorded himself doing one of Walter White's most famous 'Breaking Bad' monologues, and the results are at least 99% chemically pure.
'Escape Plan' (previously titled 'The Tomb') feels like a movie we've been waiting 30 years to see: a team-up between action icons Sylvester Stallone and Arnold Schwarzenegger. Technically, the two musclebound actors appeared together in the 'Expendables' films, but that was a glorified cameo on Arnie's part. This one is the real deal. The first poster for this sure-to-be-amazing-even-if-it's-not film has arrived and it has us pumped.
Sure, it's only the first week of June, but here are the best vines of June. Listen, we know it's crazy, but that's what this video is called. So either the rest of the Vines this month are not going to be this funny, everybody is going to take a Vinecation until July, or they're just going to keep adding more and more Vines to the end of this video each week
Comedian Nathan Fielder is making good use of his power on Twitter. He's been coming up with a number of pranks for people to play on their parents/friends and having them send him the often-hilarious results. This time he told his legion of followers to text their parents asking if it's illegal not to tell somebody you gave them an STD and say they were asking for a friend. These are the results. Keep fighting the good fight, Nathan Fielder.
With 'The Expendables 3' already casting every washed-up actor in the history of ever, it should come as no surprise that Sylvester Stallone is apparently courting Mel Gibson. It's a development that Stallone has teased before, but now the Oscar-winning actor and director is rumored to have signed on to the project in a crucial role.
The first trailer for Marvel's Joss Whedon-directed 'Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.' gave us a clue as to which 'Avengers' stars (beside Coulson) would make the first appearance in ABC's new series. But superheroes aren't the only Marvel characters we'd want to see. Were the man himself, Samuel L. Jackson's Nick Fury, to show up in Marvel's 'Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.,' how would Jackson want it to be done?
Spike TV's Ink Master is coming back for a 3rd season, and looks even cooler as the new contestants find themselves in prison. Plus a former popular contestant makes their return to the show. Check out this sneak peek of the upcoming season of Ink Master.
Pamela Anderson is used to being in the position of pushing the boundaries. But, some people think the 45 year-old former Baywatch star has pushed them just a little too far with a very sexy commercial she did for Crazy Domains, and are calling it too sexist and degrading. But, is it?
There's a video circulating on the web of a little boy with a huge voice, belting out a soulful blues tune in a music store to the amazement of the owner. I watched this video and was just about as surprised as the guy behind the counter appears to be.
With 'Dexter' season 8 set to be the last outing for Showtime's beloved serial killer, we wouldn't have been surprised if the final episodes took a more introspective focus, positioning Dexter himself as the focus of the season rather than a particular big bad. Since crime never stops in Miami however, we've learned what surgical new killer will plague Miami Metro this time around, and how the supporting characters will deal with the big change!
