The lineup for the 2013 Heavy MTL festival has been revealed, with Avenged Sevenfold, Rob Zombie, Megadeth and Godsmack leading the way. This year's event is scheduled for August 10 and 11 at Montreal's Parc Jean-Drapeau and will feature two solid days of metal and hard rock acts.

American alt-rock duo Local H have been forced to cancel a number of U.S. tour dates due to a physical attack on frontman Scott Lucas, which left the musician with serious throat injuries. Following a show in Moscow, Russia, last month, Lucas was the victim of a mugging, which left the frontman with no phone, wallet, cash and passport, along with no voice after being choked unconscious.
Between the Buried and Me have captured critical and fan acclaim with their 2012 full-length, 'The Parallax II: Future Sequence.'
