Five years ago if you had to rank wide receivers in the NFL, Chad ‘Ochocinco’ Johnson and Terrell Owens would have been in the top three. Now, they are struggling to make a roster. Once a football player hits a certain age, he might as well be dead — figuratively speaking, of course. The age most professional athletes, football players especially, look forward to the least is 30. Once a player hits 30, the age talk begins. Both Johnson and Owens are in their mid-to-late 30s.

Terrell Owens has been bouncing around from team to team since he parted ways with the Eagles in 2005. Chad Johnson’s career with Cincinnati ended in 2010. He had a disappointing season with the Patriots in 2011, and 2012 sure doesn’t look good for the 34-year-old after he was let go by the Dolphins.

Owens seemed to have things back together going into this season, but was cut by the Seahawks. He’s almost 40 though, so how much does he have left, and how much more can he take?
