It's that time of year again, folks! E3 2015 looms over the horizon about two months away, and the big titles for the calendar year are beginning to show their faces. We had Deus Ex: Mankind Divided revealed yesterday, and today Activision is getting in on the fun with the teaser above. It looks like Treyarch is going covert once again with Call of Duty: Black Ops 3.

The minute-long teaser shows numerous lines of code swirling around a black background, with ominous quotes like "this should help you remember everything" and "everything you know is wrong" coming from familiar voices if you played the previous titles. The swirling codes eventually form the image of a soldier holding two guns, referring back to the cover art for the original Call of Duty: Black Ops back in 2010.

The teaser ends with "World Reveal: 4/26/15," letting the world know when we'll get our first glimpse of Treyarch's turn back in the saddle. Sledgehammer Games had an impressive showing last year with Advanced Warfare, and Infinity Ward started the current generation of consoles off strong with Ghosts, so Treyarch is under a bit more pressure than usual to make this work. We can't wait to see where Treyarch takes us. With Activision gambling on new branches of the franchise, we're glad to see the return of Black Ops (despite all the widespread complaints of each CoD game playing the same).

We'll have more information on Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 as it is revealed. Here's to hoping this game is current-gen only so we can start moving the industry forward.
