Bride’s Special ‘Father-Daughter’ Dance Will Have You Bawling
A wedding day is special. All of your family and friends gathered to see you take vows of commitment with the one you love. Generally the father gives the bride away and has a special ‘father-daughter’ dance at the reception. However, when you’ve lost your father earlier in the year the day can be bitter-sweet.
In Andrea’s (the bride) case her father died earlier in the year from pancreatic cancer and is not their to give her away or to have the ‘father-daughter’ dance. So her brother recorded their special song “Butterfly Kisses” for her to dance too. Her dance partners are her grandfather (her dad’s father), her two brothers and finally her new father-in-law.
You better have tissues ready. I braved it at first but that didn’t last. Get a tissue, you will need it!!
