Boot Campaign Announces 3rd Annual Boot Walk With Granger Smith April 7-11, 2013

They say you can't really understand a person until you've walked a mile in their shoes. Well you best not try to understand Granger Smith because he's doing a lot of walking. Granger Smith has walked 200 miles in his 'boots' and will add another 100 miles to those boots this coming April with the 3rd annual Boot Walk. The Boot Walk is part of the Boot Campaign, a national non-profit that helps our active military, when they return home. They help with jobs, housing, wellness, family support and urgent assistance.

Granger has raised more than $15,000 in last years walk and his goal this year is $20,000. You don't have to actually join the walk in order to help; you can form a fundraising team and encourage friends and family to make donations. The event starts April 7th in Austin and will end 100 miles later on April 11th at Fort Hood where Granger will conclude the event with a concert.
