Whoops! Due to a crucial error by the AEG Live promotional company, thousands of fans were able to buy heavily discounted tickets to see a multitude of Barclaycard British Summer Time concerts throughout July at London's Hyde Park. Thanks to this error, fans will see Black Sabbath, Soundgarden, Faith No More, Motorhead, Soulfly and many more on July 4 for the low, low price of £2.50 (or $4.25 U.S.).

The British Summer Time shows are currently selling between £50 - £295, so how the hell did thousands of people grab tickets for only £2.50 to the Black Sabbath concert and other summer shows? According to the International Business Times, an AEG Live email sent to "companies that are connected with the promoter" was leaked. That email detailed information that heavily discounted tickets for a few chosen parties, but once that information slipped into the public, buyers quickly scooped up tickets for next to nothing.

That's not even the end of the story. Ticketing company AXS has confirmed that all tickets sold for £2.50 will be honored. It was reportedly feared that "anyone who hasn't purchased from a work email address that isn't associated with the company will have them cancelled."

The British Summer Time organizers have also confirmed that all tickets will be honored:

One question that hasn't been answered, however, is how much money will be lost due to the leaked offer? The exact number may never be revealed, but a lot of people will see what could possibly be Black Sabbath's final show for little more than pocket change.
