Bill and Ted 3 is in the works says Keanu Reeves who first brought the most excellent 'Ted Theodore Logan' to life back in 1989.  Wyld Stallyns soon could be ruling again! I don't know, maybe I'm dating myself a little bit, but I don't care - I loved "Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure"!  The movie that added the terms "most excellent" and "bogus" to our collective  language WAS most excellent and could soon have it's third installment.   In fact, Keanu says the original writers are very close to completing a draft.

"I believe the writers are six weeks away from a draft," he said on Monday (April 4), adding with a laugh, "No pressure, guys!"

Keanu also talked about possible story lines.

"When we last got together, part of it was that Bill and Ted were supposed to have written the song that saved the world, and it hasn't happened," he said. "So they've now become kind of possessed by trying to do that. Then there's an element of time and they have to go back"

Who in the heck will they get to play the late George Carlin's part, 'Rufus'?  Will Bill and Ted, at the age of 50, be able to most triumphantly bring back the magic that was there in 1989?

In any case, here is Keanu, talking about the possible new movie.

What do you think about a new Bill and Ted movie? Will you watch it?

In the meantime, let's take you back in time to the original movie trailer.
