‘Beer O’Clock,’ ‘Hangry’ Added to the Oxford English Dictionary
The next time your buddy asks you what time you plan on starting your drinking binge, the response 'beer o'clock' will be 100% acceptable.
The Oxford English Dictionary recently released their quarterly update to their informal online dictionary and 'beer o'clock' has officially been added!
Other terms getting the nod this quarter include 'hangry,' defined as 'bad-tempered or irritable as a result of hunger,' and 'bruh,' defined as 'a male friend (often used as a form of address).'
Thrillist reports that 'brain fart,' 'mkay,' 'mic drop,' and 'bitch face' also made this quarter's cut. 'Swole' and 'butthurt' are also there.
