Heralded by MTV and Metallica as the greatest Metallica tribute band there is, "Battery" are set to charge into Abilene on Thursday (1/9).

Heck, these guys are so good, they've even toured with Metallica. So, if you're a fan of Metallica, then you definitely don't wanna miss the world-famous "Battery", the masters of Metallica. So get your air guitar and devil horns ready for a raucous night at the Mule.

Many have asked if Rear Naked Choke will still play the show following the death of their guitarist "Mookie". The answer is YES.

Here's their statement:

Hey everyone we have had some questions about the show this Thursday at The Lucky Mule Abilene. We will still be playing the show because that is what Mike would have wanted us to do.

So we hope you will come out and help us celebrate the music that Mike created. We will go on at 9 so get there early and then stay for the other great music.

Also playing that night will be BatterY "The Masters of MetallicA" Tribute Band & A Threat To The Enemy so it will be a night of good music.

As a matter of fact, Ramon, Joe and the rest of the gang down at the Lucky Mule just informed me that they'll donate $1 from every ticket sold to the Morgan Family to help with final medical and funeral costs.
