If you thought consoles could contain Batman, you were wrong. Batman: Arkham Origins will also be coming to mobile devices this holiday.

Developed by NetherRealm Studios, Arkham Origins mobile is a free-to-play brawler that puts players in the shoes of Batman as he takes on the big bads from this month's console sequel. Previously, NetherRealm developed Batman: Arkham City Lockdown, the mobile version of Batman: Arkham City.
“We created an integrated gaming ecosystem between the Batman: Arkham Origins mobile and console games, which delivers rewards and unlocks that provide greater experiences for players,” said Ed Boon, Creative Director, NetherRealm Studios.  “The mobile game goes hand-in-hand with what is offered on the other platforms.”

You'll be able to earn new batsuits and rewards as you progress, and can use in-game currency to purchase more items. If you also have the console version, you'll be able to unlock some unique content, though details on just what that content is are absent at this time.

Batman: Arkham Origins is due out on iOS later this year, while the console version will hit the PlayStation 3, PC, Wii U and Xbox 360 on Oct. 25.
