Guns N' Roses revealed on Friday afternoon that Axl Rose broke his foot during the band's surprise show last week at the Troubadour in Los Angeles, but GN'R will still play their Vegas shows on April 8 and 9, as well as their Coachella gigs this month. The news was revealed via a video of his doctor explaining the injury, which can be seen below:

According to TMZ, the GN'R frontman apparently suffered the injury when he slipped onstage as the band was performing "Mr. Brownstone" at their L.A. gig. As the doctor explains in the video above, Axl sustained a fracture of the fifth metatarsal in his left foot and is in a cast. He'll have to limit the weight on his foot for at least four weeks.

In the Tweet above, Axl wrote, "This is what can happen when you do something you haven't done in nearly over 23 years," alluding to the fact that it was the first time he played with both Slash and Duff McKagan onstage since 1993.
