Alien Ant Farm Enter the Studio to Begin Recording New Album
It has been more than six years since Alien Ant Farm released ‘Up in the Attic,’ and now the band is in the studio to record a new album that should be available in early 2013. Alien Ant Farm has entered Groovemaster Studios in Chicago to begin the process. They will be working with Johnny K (Disturbed, Staind) and other producers.
Smashing Pumpkins Reissuing ‘Pisces Iscariot’
On the heels of the recent release of their new album ‘Oceania,’ a classic Smashing Pumpkins compilation will get the reissue treatment. A remastered edition of 1994‘s ‘Pisces Iscariot,’ a compilation of B-sides and outtakes, will be released July 17.

There have been rumblings that Van Halen might be playing the 2013 Super Bowl halftime show. Linkin Park + Green Day Among Acts Playing 2012 iHeartRadio Festival
The star-studded lineup for the second annual iHeartRadio Festival has been announced. Linkin Park and Green Day will be on the bill for the two day concert at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas on Sept. 21 and 22. Other rock artists that will be performing include Bon Jovi and Aerosmith. Tickets go on sale July 14.

After Van Halen postponed 30 plus shows that were to begin July 7, those shows now apparently won’t be rescheduled and have been officially canceled. Filter Announce Summer 2012 Tour Dates
