The downloadable content for Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag that features Aveline has been confirmed to be completely exclusive to the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4.

According to Eurogamer, Ubisoft has confirmed that the extra hour of gameplay that features Aveline's levels will remain exclusive to Sony's consoles. It was thought before that the DLC was a timed exclusive and would eventually head to other platforms, but now that rumor has been squashed.

Aveline's DLC will feature the heroine of Assassin's Creed 3: Liberation, complete with her hidden blade, pistols and her machete. You'll control her as she makes her way through three missions that adds about an hour of gameplay.

Check out Aveline's missions now on PlayStation 3 and on Nov. 15, when the PlayStation 4 version launches. There's no word yet if the same will hold true of Watch Dogs content also coming exclusively to the PlayStation consoles next year.
