It’s been a record-breaking week for Asking Alexandra. Their new disc ‘From Death to Destiny’ debuted on Billboard’s Top 200 chart in the No. 5 position making it the band’s highest charting debut to date. That’s not all though, the album also marked a few firsts for their label Sumerian Records, chalking up the label’s highest first-week sales to date with 41,082 units sold.

The band also had a banner week in their homeland, racking up a No. 1 debut on the U.K. rock and metal charts. Guitarist Ben Bruce recently shared his excitement, saying, “I don't know where to start! I can't begin to express just how excited I am with the success of ‘From Death to Destiny.’ It’s our biggest first week yet and proof that heavy music is alive and well.”

He continued, showering praise on Asking Alexandria’s devoted fan base, “None of this would be possible without the love and devotion of our incredible fans. They prove to us and the world time and time again that they are a force to be reckoned with,” he said. “They won't be shunned and their presence will be globally recognized. Our fans are helping to keep rock ‘n' roll alive and I couldn't be more proud to be sharing this battle with them. Things are only going to get bigger and better from here on out.”

Asking Alexandria are currently gearing up for their biggest headlining North American tour ever, joining forces with Sevendust, All That Remains, Emmure and For Today. “We have an unrelenting tour schedule set throughout 2014, so you won't be seeing us slowing down anytime soon,” Bruce explained. “As stated in our new album, 'this world's yours for the taking,' and we are all well on our way.” Check out all of the details on their upcoming tour below.
