Art of Anarchy, comprised of esteemed rockers Scott Stapp, former Guns N’ Roses guitarist Ron “Bumblefoot” Thal, Disturbed bassist John Moyer alongside Jon and Vince Votta (drums, guitar respectively), are one month away from the release of their sophomore album, The Madness, offering up another glimpse of what's to come with the new song "No Surrender."

Dark and brooding, the track warms up with a gentle guitar melody with crescendoing energy as the drums and bass enter the picture and light guitar swells lie underneath the verse. Stapp's delivery is subdued with a nervous tension, exploding in the riff-heavy chorus, dipping right back into that morose atmosphere on the second verse. The refrain's cadence closely resembles that of the verse, offering a soft and heavy contrast with considerable power.

"In 'No Surrender' I addressed those moments in life where you've reached a personal crossroads or crisis," Stapp told Billboard who premiered the lyric video. "That place where your back is against the wall and you're left with two choices -- to cave in and crumble allowing whatever circumstance to break you forever, or to rise up and fight through holding on to that never give up spirit that lies deep within. I detail in the verses personal experiences, as I lived them, that have taken me to that critical place of choice. Am I to give up, stay down and fade away or get up, fight on and never surrender."

The Madness is Stapp's first album with the band, replacing the late Scott Weiland who fronted the group on their debut disc. The record will be out on March 24 through Century Media and pre-orders can be placed here.
