Are Metallica Playing Abilene?

You may have noticed on your "Bands in Town" app or on Facebook that Metallica are playing the Lucky Mule Saloon on November 15th.

Well, unfortunately you have been misled by those social platforms. Metallica aren't coming to Abilene. However, a Metallica tribute band, called "One", are apparently coming to town on that date. We're not sure if the tribute band is responsible for misleading everyone, but we can assure you that the 'boys in black' are not coming to Abilene. While that would be an epic concert for Abilene to have, it is not happening.

I'm sure that's coming as a huge disappointment to many, I'd like to encourage you to check out the Metallica tribute band that is coming. I'm sure an evening filled with your favorite Metallica tunes while chugging on cold beer is gonna be fun for all of us.

Just remember, just because you read it on the internet, doesn't make it true.
